Superior Thermal Performance: The 6-chamber profile and 85 mm (3.35 inches) installation depth, combined with the three-level center seal (MD system), drastically reduce heat loss. The best possible overall window U-value (Uw) can reach 0.60 W/m2K (0.11 BTU per hour per square foot per degree Fahrenheit) with specialized glazing.
Security and Stability: The bonding inside technology glues the glass pane all the way around the profile, creating an extremely strong bond between the pane and the sash. This process increases stability and is essential for achieving Resistance Class 2 (RC2) burglary protection. The safetec inside central profile web further thwarts attempted break-ins.
