The VELUX Daylight Spot is an ideal, cost-effective solution for channeling natural light into windowless interior rooms, such as bathrooms, dark hallways, or closets, where traditional roof windows cannot be installed. By utilizing natural light, this system significantly reduces the need for artificial lighting, offering energy savings and free daylight enjoyment.

Aesthetics: Features a flat design for harmonious integration into the roof and an elegant, maintenance-free glass exterior module.
Installation: Installation is simple and fast, utilizing an innovative plug-in system with mounting clips instead of screws, allowing the entire tunnel system to be installed and aligned from the exterior of the roof.
Interior Finish: The unit is supplied with a frosted, double-layered polycarbonate diffuser and an integrated white ceiling ring.

Roof Compatibility: Suitable for roof pitches from 15 degrees to 60 degrees.
Tube Types:Rigid Tube (TWR/TLR): Recommended for maximum daylight when there is a straight path (clear access) between the roof and the ceiling. Provides up to 98% daylight reflection.Flexible Tube (TWF/TLF): Recommended when an obstruction, such as a beam, prevents a direct, straight path.
Flashing Compatibility: Integrated flashing is suitable for both flat and profiled/wavy roofing materials up to 12 cm (approx. 4.7 inches) high. Not suitable for standing seam metal roofs.

Dimensions and Extension

Tube Diameter: Available with 35 cm (approx. 13.8 inches) diameter.
Tube Length Included:Rigid Tube includes 1.7 meters (approx. 5.6 feet) of tube.Flexible Tube includes 2 meters (approx. 6.6 feet) of flexible hose.
Maximum Length (Rigid Tube): Can be extended up to a total length of 6 meters (approx. 19.7 feet) using extension tubes (ZTR).
Recommended Length (Rigid): 0.9 to 6 meters.

Accessories and Upgrades

Lighting Kit - ZTL: Can be added at any time to provide light at night. It comes with an energy-saving 4-W LED bulb (equivalent to 40W) concealed behind a frosted pane, offering a long service life (approx. 18 years). Fits both 25 cm and 35 cm diameter spots.
Low U-Value Disc - ZTB: A 2-pane polycarbonate disc and an additional seal in the ceiling ring. It improves thermal insulation by creating a highly insulating quadruple glazing effect (4-fach-Verglasung) in the interior room.
Ventilation Adapter - ZTV: Supplements room ventilation by guiding moist or stale air outside (requires construction additions, available only for TWR/TWF models). The connection diameter is 10 cm (approx. 4 inches).
Extension Tube - ZTR: Used to extend the rigid tube (TWR/TLR) when the distance between the roof and the ceiling exceeds 170 cm (approx. 5.6 feet).
